Generally areas Amethyst Hair and Holistic cover are Southend, Castle Point and Rochford. Sarah also covers the Dengie Penisnsular.
Do you use ethical hair products?
Yes, Amethyst Hair and Holistic ensure our whole range of qaulity products are not tested on animals.
Are skin tests compulsory for new clients and whenever Sarah feels is necessary?
Yes colour services will not be carried out without a skin test 48 hours prior to a new client colour service, according to the manufacturers directions. If there is any sign of skin redness, swelling, discomfort or irritation, however mild then the colour cannot be carried out. This also includes woven tinted high or low lights as your body can still come into dangerous contact with the colour product. You must inform me of any allergies and any previous reaction to any type of hair or other product or to any discomfort from your skin test. Products can cause severe life threatening reactions so this is to safeguard you. Amethyst Hair also reserve the right to refuse to carry out any hair service that Sarah feels will compromise the integrity of your hair condition. Amethyst Hair also have a policy of no chemical processes on children under 16 years. Ladies under 18 years, must have in-person parental permission and their guardian be present during the whole hair colour service.
For Wedding Hair do Amethyst Hair travel to your home or chosen venue and outside of Essex?
Yes Sarah is happy to travel wherever you desire your hair to be styled. Sarah is very organised and an itinerary of everything to do with hair for your day, including timings and order of yourself and your bridesmaids styling and details of the exact location, parking, room number and any special requirements are clarified well before your special day. For wedding parties over a certain number, Sarah can often travel out of Essex, please email to discuss options.
